Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences, maintain your login session, understand how you use the site, and improve your experience.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) and session tokens for similar purposes. This policy refers to all these technologies collectively as “cookies.”

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • To authenticate your account and maintain your login session.
  • To remember your preferences and settings.
  • To understand how you use the Service and improve it.
  • To enforce plan limits and billing state.
  • To protect the security of your account and our Service.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

Data collected: Page URL, referrer, browser type, device type, approximate location (country-level only via truncated IP), time of visit. No personal identifiers are collected or stored.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies.

When payment processing is enabled in the future, Stripe or our payment provider may set their own cookies during checkout. These are controlled by the payment provider’s privacy and cookie policies.

5. Managing Cookies

5.1 Browser Controls

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Block all cookies / Manage website data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

You can set your browser to:

  • Block all cookies (not recommended — may break the Service).
  • Block only third-party cookies.
  • Delete cookies when you close your browser.
  • Receive a warning before a cookie is set.

5.2 Clearing Local Storage

  1. Open your browser’s developer tools (F12).
  2. Go to the “Application” or “Storage” tab.
  3. Under “Local Storage,” select our domain.
  4. Click “Clear” or “Delete.”

6. Consent and Legal Compliance

6.1 GDPR / ePrivacy (EU/UK)

  • Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements.
  • Analytics cookies require prior consent under the ePrivacy Directive.
  • If we deploy additional analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will implement a cookie consent banner that blocks non-essential cookies until consent is obtained.

6.2 CCPA / CPRA (California)

  • We do not currently sell or share personal information through cookies or tracking technologies.
  • If we enable marketing pixels or analytics that constitute “sharing” under CCPA, we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out mechanism.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our cookie practices, new technologies, or legal requirements. We will update the “Last Updated” date and provide reasonable notice of material changes.
